4th weekly posting of Saudi SAI activities-24 Jan 2008--

 

Dear Sai Maa,

Our humble salutations at your Divine Lotus Feet. We offer this posting at your Lotus Feet Sai Maa.

Sairam dear Sai Children, Sai Sisters and Sai Brothers of all 4 Sai SatSanghs in Dammam, Jubail, Jeddah and Riyadh .

Here we begin our 4th posting of 2008—

Summary: 1. Total Attendance all over Saudi was above 180

2. Jubail centre celebrates its 2nd anniversary

3. 3 home bhajans in Riyadh in January-2008.

 

Details:

Jubail center celebrated its 2nd anniversary on Friday 25th Jan. The following report is given by Bro.Wimal.Thankyou Bro.Wimal. Please go through the report in his own words----

 

 

Jubail center held the Annual day celebrations Satsang on Friday 25th Jan at 8.00AM till 12 Noon. The attendance was about 70- 75 members from all three provinces at Bro Dr. Kosala's residence. Aarthi was taken by Saudi Sai organization chairman Bro Pakiyanathan from Riyadh .

 

There were about 13-14 members from Riyadh came to attend the annual day satsung. I thank all of them on behalf of the Sai Jubail center for their efforts. Specially the timely help and directions provided on the occasion to make it successful. The kindness and moral boosting words/ speech are the special moments on this occasion, which was found very helpful during this visit from the Riyadh center members. I would take this opportunity to thank all the members who came all the way from Riyadh to participate in our Jubail annual day once again. Special thank to Saudi chairman to make it happened. I should not forget to thank Bro Nadarajah (Nada Uncle) for the kind advices and physical helps extended during this event to Jubail sai group.

 

I also would like to extend our sincere thanks to Khobar/ Dammam participants for attending the event and the helps extended, as always we request and expect from them. This year also they extended their participation and offered open hearted helps for us. Special thanks to Bro Hari, Bro Sutharsan, Bro Srikumar, Bro Jeyaraman and the Khobar Sai head Bro Jagganathan. We found that they are more than happy to offer the helps, which we didn't even think about. I thank Bro Jaggu for inviting Jubail group for the "Maha Shivarathiri day Celebrations " in Khobar on 6th of March. Also the same with Riyadh group. Thank you very much.

 

I would like to summarize the event details as happened during the day. We conducted the program starting with 21 Aums, and followed as per the program schedule. Special thanks to all the members who helped Dr. Kosala for preparing the venue for the event, especially during the night. Also Bro Gopala & Sister Luxshimi Gopala for all the efforts extended during the whole week. The keenness shown by Mr. & Mrs. Gopala was not comparable, as they were willing to do what ever was requested, infact more than that. As usual Bro Gopi is the silent person but he gave very productive physical efforts for the event. I should thank Bro Shiva for all the printing helps. Bro. Sarathy also for all the help extended during the program day.

 

As we had children's program, they prepared and performed (dance and solo bhajan's) in a short time frame in excellent way. I thank all of them, and their parents.

 

As we started the service part, as per our beloved Swamy's quotes, Bro Sunil and Sister Pradeepa carried out the service function with dedication and perfection. I have seen all the efforts taken place from purchases till preparation and distribution of the lunch packets & T-shirts to various sites. As per the requests from our Jubail sai family members. We have distributed more than 200 packets for the needy. Thanks to all the members participated during the preparations and distributing the parcels. Special thanks to Sister Maheswari (Nada Aunty) for the food preparation assistance and sorting out t-shirts along with Bro Prabakar from Khobar.

Overall we thank Dr. Kosala and Mrs. Shanthi for providing their residence for the occasion. And thanking Juabil Sai group head Bro Swamy Mahadevan for all the pillar works behind along with his assistants. I extend thank to all who provided the help and wished for a successful event on this lovely moment. Please bear with me for not mentioning all the names who assisted us during the occasion to become a successful event.

 

 

Dammam-Khobar centre held the weekly Satsang on

Wednesday, 23rd Jan 2008 at Bro. Soodamani's residence at Dammam. Around 30 devotees attended the bhajan.Aarthi was taken by Bro.Ramesh. Report was given by Bro. Prem. Thank you Bro. Prem.

 

 

Jeddah samiti held the weekly bhajan at Bro. Gopi's residence on Thursday. 30 devotees attended the session. Aarthi was taken by Bro. Rajan who came back after a long business commitment trip. The report was given by Bro. Ashok kumar. Thank you Bro.Ashok Kumar.

 

 

Riyadh report-----

Riyadh centre held the weekly Satsang on Thursday, 24th of January 2008. More than 50 people attended the bhajan session. Session started with Vedam and then Sai Astothram The first bhajan was a English bhajan "Take all the obstacles away…." sung by birthday boy Sairam Karthick (son of Bro.Mani Shekhar & Bhanu). There were 14 bhajans in total, ending with "Subramanyam…" sung by Bro.Ganesh. Aarati was taken by young Prashant Srinivasan whose birthday is on28th of this month. Thanks to all the lead singers. Riyadh report is given to me by Sis.Bhanu Mani Shekhar as I could not attend .Thankyou Sis.Bhanu.

Riyadh Sai family prays our beloved Swami to shower his finest blessings to Sairam Karthick (son of Bro.Mani Shekhar), Prashant (son of Bro. Srinivasan) & Anushka Venkat on the eve of their birthdays falling this week.

This week on Wednesday we had a meeting among the Mahila (lady) members of the Riyadh Sai family, presided by Sis. Bhanu Mani Shekhar.We discussed mainly on our role in Riyadh Sai Family, how we mahilas can help on the up- coming events of the year 2008…etc....15 mahilas attended the meeting.

We also had HOME BHAJAN at Bro.Sridhar's residence. About 60 devotees attended & 19 bhajans were sung. Our National Chair Person Bro.Packy always encourages us to have HOME BHAJANS which will give positive vibrations in the home. As it is said "MORNING SHOWS THE DAY"--Our Riyadh Sai family has already witnessed 3 home bhajans in the 1st month of 2008(Bro. Vittals' resd, Bro.Khem's resd & Bro.Sridhar's resd).

As usual this week also we had Lalita Sahasranaamarchana and Sai Sahasranamacharna in the centre.
