Guest guest
The very reason why we are born in this world is to eliminate our unfulfilled desires either through fulfilling them or through eliminating them completely from our nature. When we try to fulfill our desires and satisfy ourselves, we set ourself another goal and thereby a new set of desires are formed for us to be fulfilling in future. Therefore, this method does not work. Let us try the second one of trying to eliminate them completely from our nature. For doing this, we need to understand our true Self. God is lending the life force and tools such as body and mind for us to go and fulfill or eliminate our desires. All of them are given for action. We take this for granted and forget the fact that we are holding it in trust on behalf of God and we have the primary duty of merging ourselves with God. We begin to become a servant to our body and mind which are transient in nature and start accumulating material things as though they belong to this body and mind. We start identifying ourselves with this body and mind. This creates ego, separation from our Self and results in dualism. We have to remember that we are Supreme Self and our primary duty is to shrug off our desires and become one with the God. We become the richest once we eliminate all our desires. That is the true purpose of our lives. We are not the doer and we are only a witness to all actions. This awareness will only help the burden of our nature to be reduced and make the process of becoming one with the God easier.
