Guest guest
WE ARE HIS CHILDREN(Chapter 22)The experiences He will create individually for you to guide you, to illuminate your path will relate only to you. So ask for your path, your guidance and your experience to that golden key.A six year old boy decided one Saturday morning, to make his parents pancakes. He found a big bowl and spoon, pulled a chair to the counter, opened the cupboard and pulled out the heavy bag of flour, spilling it on the floor. He scooped some of the flour into the bowl with his hands, mixed in most of a cup of milk and added some sugar, leaving a floury trail on the floor which by now had a few tracks left by his kitten. Covered in flour, he was getting frustrated. He wanted this to be something very good for his parents but it was becoming very bad. He didn't know what to do next, whether to put it all into the oven or on the gas, (and he didn't know how the gas worked!) Suddenly, he saw his kitten licking from the bowl of mix and reached to push her away, knocking the eggs to the floor. Frantically, he tried to clean up this monumental mess but slipped on the eggs, getting his pajamas white and sticky . Just then he saw Dad standing at the door. Big tears welled up in his eyes. All he'd wanted to do was something good, but he'd made a terrible mess. He was sure a scolding was coming, maybe even a spanking. But his father just watched him. Then, walking through the mess, he picked up his crying son and hugged him getting his own pajamas white and sticky in the process. This is how God is with us. We try to do something good in life, but it turns into a mess. Our marriage gets all sticky, we insult a friend, can't stand our job or our health takes a turn for the worse. Sometimes, we just stand there in tears because we can't think of anything else to do. That's when God picks us up and loves us and forgives us, even though some of our mess gets all over Him. Just because we have made a mess, we can't stop trying like the little boy. Make pancakes for God or for others. Sooner or later, we'll get it right, and then they'll be glad we tried. So never give up. He understands. It is our pure intentions that He is interested in and attracted to.There was a little boy who found his way into his father's study. The little boy was not allowed in there normally because there were many very valuable papers in the room and the door was kept closed. But one day, the door happened to be open. The boy saw the open door and went inside. Just then, a very important paper was wafted down onto the floor. It was a very old rare map of the world, very beautiful and colorful with each color representing a country. He picked it up and looked at it, then he bent it this way and that. It was so nice to play with, and he made different things with it. But the old map could not stand so much bending and soon it was in two pieces and then lots of pieces. The little boy was delighted with this. Now he had more pieces to play with. In no time at all, the whole world was in pieces. The father came in. He saw his son had been playing with the map and it was in pieces. The father was very upset. He said, 'Son, look at what you've done. You've torn the world into pieces.' But then, he thought he was just a little boy and he was really quite innocent. The father couldn't really be angry with him. However, the world was now in pieces, and so the father decided to teach the boy a lesson. He said, 'Son, you shouldn't have torn the world into pieces. I will give you some tape and you put it all back together again. When you paste it back together daddy will feel better and you will also feel better.' Try as he would, the little boy didn't know how to put the world back together again. There were just too many pieces and he couldn't understand how they should fit together. But then, he noticed one of the pieces was upside down and there on the back of the paper, he saw a human eye. Well, that was surprising. He turned another piece over and on its back side, he found a hand. Pretty soon, he had all the pieces over on their back and saw all the different parts of a man. Well, even a little boy knows what a man looks like. So now he could solve the puzzle. Very soon he had the man back together again. When he turned the whole thing over, to his joy, the whole world was back together again. The moral of this story is that though the whole world may be in pieces, just put the man back together properly and the whole world comes together automatically. If we just get ourselves into order, then everything in the universe will fall into place in perfect harmony.(From : THE KEY TO GOD'S HEART by R SAI)Copyright by the Author. All rights reserved.
