Once in the Portico of the old Prasanthi Mandir, Swami Blessed a Japamala and then asked about the Significance of the 108 the Beads in the Japamala, Bhagawan wonderfully said that the Beads are divided into the Following : 6 x 3 x 2 x3 = 108 6 senses - Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, Touch, Thought3 aspects of time - Past, Present and Future 2 Conditions of the Heart - Pure or Impure 3 Sentiments - Likes, Dislikes and Indifference.
