DESIRE IS ALWAYS FULFILLED (Chapter 10)Each

one of us is saturated from head to toe with desires of one kind or

another. Sundry cravings assail us from all sides and they go on

multiplying in number and force incessantly. The embankments of

discipline and duty are swept away by the flood of desire. Therefore,

discrimination must be exercised and one must seek the fulfillment of

only those desires that are beneficial to one and one's goal.One must be careful what one asks from God, what you need, what you

want because what you receive depends on what you ask for and expect.

Be aware that how the words are formulated lay down the rules for what

can be bestowed upon you. Merely for the asking can you have

everything. Ask and you shall receive for it is His duty to give you

whatever you ask. There

is no point in going to a shop and requesting a flannel or a towel when

in fact you can have a golden dish. But if you ask for a trinket, then

you will undoubtedly receive a trinket. On the other hand, if you ask

for a golden dish, then you will be given a golden dish. However, if

you ask for nothing and trust in His judgment, then perhaps, you may be

given all that He can possibly bestow which may be more than you have

ever dreamed of. Some persons cannot believe in the possibility of

certain

events or happenings just as some people only have faith in drugs,

tablets and doctors rather than faith in the divine. So how can He give

you something that you do not even believe as possible? Or you believe

to be impossible?One must be aware, every thought, every wish, every

desire that you entertain must be and will be fulfilled at some point.

It can never not be fulfilled. This is the law of karma, of action

and reaction. Once you express a thought, a wish, a desire, it is a

pure energy form that must take form, must express itself in reality,

become a reality at some point. Therefore, it is vital not to entertain

desires, not to want. One

of the principles of God is that the service and love that you engage

in, that one offers to Him and the love that you carry for Him

guarantees His guardianship of your whole family, of all the people you

care for, for all those you love so that you have no worries,

distractions or concerns to take you away from Him. Your one and only

concern and priority is to love Him, to please Him. From the moment you

arise to the time you retire, immerse yourself in thoughts of loving

Him. This guarantees and ensures that all your problems are resolved by

the Lord. After all, if you expend all your time on Him, it becomes His

obligation and duty to ensure that all your requirements are also met.

Everything to do with you, everything to do with those connected with

you, will be under the control and in the power of the Lord. And He

will exercise His power to resolve all your worries and outstanding

issues. He may even go to the extent of discharging your duties for

you. Why does He do this? He does so out of His love for you. The love

you have for Him is returned to you a thousand fold in that form. But

He also does it so that you are free to enmesh yourself more and more

in that love. He will grant every wish that you have, every desire that

you entertain if only you will love Him.He will always

grant your desires, He will always grant what you seek, more especially

when the yearning is for Him, when the lover seeks the beloved. That is

why He always insists that you are careful what you ask for. Surrender

yourself to His will and let it be His will, not yours. Why ask for

tinsel when God is prepared to give you something worth a million

dollars? Let Him give what He wishes to give, for guaranteed it will be

infinitely more valuable and precious than anything you could ever ask

for, want or need. God has always said 'Ask and it shall be given'. So

we have to have trust that He will give us, if not what we have asked
