Guest guest
FAITH(Chapter 11)He has stressed again and again in all the scriptures that love is absolutely essential to reach God, to know God, to understand God. Yet on the equal footing, of equal importance, is the necessity for faith because without faith, love is a volatile emotion that can sometimes lead one astray. Not always but occasionally. Or it can lead to disappointments or negative feelings. Faith in itself is not the entire answer either. Love and faith go hand in hand, and that is the basis for experiencing God. Love and faith play a very important role. They are the two wings with which one can soar the heavens. Love on its own can make one depressed or become disappointed which creates negative emotions, but it is faith in Him and His infallibility, that one has made the mistake and not Him, that actually corrects the matter, that balances one. The two of them, faith and love, act as a counter balance for each other. One cannot fully succeed or cannot fully attain the goal without both.Though, of course, love is the force that bolsters faith as faith can falter, be shattered and destroyed, reduced to rubble under the bombardment of unfulfilled desires. Though faith is vital for spiritual progress, love alone holds the key to His heart. Faith is necessary. The faith should be such that no matter what He tells you, you must accept it without question. The total and complete faith that He wishes you to cultivate no matter how things may appear or seem to be. There are no rituals that bind, no fasts, duty, nothing but His word. When He asks you to carry out something, do it without question. It is not easy but with perseverance, it can be achieved. This is vital to learn and practice. Having faith in God means the total acceptance of His will in everything. Whatever He says. Whatever He does. Whatever He does. Whatever He asks you to do. And it must be unquestionable. What does blind faith mean? It means that you set aside all your experiences and conclusions based on the mind and follow the inner God. Are we ready to jump in and then learn to swim? Such faith and love is what He seeks of us. If we follow Him and allow Him to guide us, then no matter what happens, we will be heading on the God ward path home. When He gives you any instructions, advice or edict, it is necessary that enough faith is there to implicitly follow His word, to bring it to fruition. Without the yearning, without the faith and strength of character, nothing can be achieved. We all know the story of Moses and how the Israelites lived in the desert for forty years on His grace and bounty alone. They wandered in the desert with only the food provided by the manna sent from heaven and the water that miraculously came out of a rock cleft by Moses with his sacred stick. Forty years they wandered and they learned to become totally dependent for their survival on the Lord. It required a total letting go to His grace. A one hundred percent trust. A complete trust in God without deviation. It is what He seeks from us. This is the adventure of waking up to the presence of God in your life. This is not just the story of the scriptures. It is our own story. We are born, we seek God but He is nowhere to be found. We seek happiness that we know is ours by right but we look for it in the world and it eludes us. Then, one blessed day, He reveals Himself to us. But soon, He takes us out into the desert and we wander about, lost. It will seem that whenever there is a crisis, He will wait until the last moment before stepping in. He takes us to the precipice and even down into the depths, and then, at the last moment, He raises us to the sky. We become totally dependent on Him for everything, our food, shelter, work, health, direction and our very lives. He then grants us experiences to develop and strengthen our faith and love for Him. Then finally, He fills us with Himself.Within each of us , there is a war being waged between the forces of right and wrong. It is only when we turn to the Lord, when we seek Him out and He comes to us, takes hold of the reins and guides us that there is any hope of winning this inner war. It is faith alone that steadies the mind; unshakable faith in the face of opposition. More important and absolutely vital is faith in yourself, faith in your beliefs, and confidence in what you can achieve and how you can achieve it. The understanding that faith and acceptance of His will ultimately prevails. To have faith in God, one must have self confidence, that is confidence in yourself. The way to achieve this is to become aware of the constant nearness of God.It is wherever you place your faith, dust you think then dust you are. God you think then God you are. Always have complete faith in God who takes care of everything. True greatness can only come from faith and love. If you shut the door, how can God be revealed? Where is the room for God to come inside? Love is God. Live in love. Start the day with love, spend the day with love, fill your day with love, and end the day with love. That is the way to God. Faith is but the acknowledgment of God in all His abundance, all His goodness, His ever present, all powerful will. Love and faith are forces that release the latent genius within each soul. All is possible with love for, through it, you can tap the source of sources.God may well have something wonderful planned for you but if your faith wavers or you entertain doubts, you can speed or delay His will. This is a power that lies with all of us. The important point to recollect is that doubt clashes with His will. If there are doubts, then there is no possibility of fulfillment of His will. His will is accelerated and speeded by your faith. It is slowed down and halted by your doubts. The strength of your faith determines the strength of God's will. If you do not entertain doubts, then whatever you wish for will be fulfilled. If there is total positivity, then a miracle has to happen. The miracle your desire must manifest. There is not even an iota of doubt in this. But if there is any negativity, imbalance or doubt, then the process takes much longer or not at all, so your desire may never materialize.Keep in mind that if things do not work out the way God has told you they would, or according to His indications, the fault probably lies with you and not Him. Actually, it definitely is one's own. That is how one must view matters. After all, when one travels this path and one experience His presence, then blind trust in the divine is the only option, the only solution. It is what must be cultivated. After all, it is what we all expect and demand from each other. The child places trust in the mother that she IS its mother. We all trust our parents to do what is best for us. We trust that when we drive a car, we are going to reach our destination safely; otherwise we would never enter a car. We take a flight in the sure knowledge that we will disembark at the other end. Trust me, have faith in me. I will. I can. If this is what we expect, this is how we feel, then as God, He has a perfect right to demand it, to insist on it. As the saying goes, complete trust in Him never landed anyone into trouble.(From : THE KEY TO GOD'S HEART by R SAI) Visit : Sai Messages : http://saimessages.blogspot.com/ Sai Divine Inspirations : http://saidivineinspirations.blogspot.com/ Love Is My Form : http://loveismyform.blogspot.com/ (for non-Sai members) Take the Internet to Go: Go puts the Internet in your pocket: mail, news, photos more.
