Jai sai Ram,

After a pretty long time, I am writing here. Tomorrow is EID, and first of all, I would like to wish all my brothers, sisters and others a happy "EID MUBARAK".

Today, I'm gonna write something about myself, about the FAITH IN GOD that once I hardly had.

Before I have known BABA:

I was an atheist at one time. (The reason behind is the untimely death of my mother, a religious woman, who loved and worshipped God more than she loved me and everything, who passed away just at 47, suddenly, without even releasing a sigh of pain.) Like many atheists, the issue of people believing in God bothered me greatly. What is it about atheists that we would spend so much time, attention and energy refuting something that we don't believe even exists? What causes us to do that? When I was an atheist, I attributed my intentions as caring for those poor, delusional people...to help them realize their hope was solely of no use. As I challenged those who believed in God, I was curious to observe and experience their developments, which they have had in their life and living.

After I have known BABA:

My live changed. I became a man from a dog. God, I mean BABA has created us with the intention that we would know HIM. HE has surrounded us with evidence of HIMSELF and HE keeps the question of HIS existence squarely before us. It was as if I couldn't escape thinking about the possibility of God. It is HE only who rules the universe and has made me, you and all. Without HIM, we are nowhere. In fact, the day I chose to acknowledge God's existence, my prayer began with, "Ok, you win..." It might be that the underlying reason atheists are bothered by people believing in God is because God is actively pursuing them.I will stop here. Let me just say in a sentence: BABA has changed my way of life and now, without HIS grace, I am nowhere. HE is my sole refuge.

I am sharing a small story here relating to BELIEF (SHRADDHA), which is one of the two doctrines preached by our PARABRAHMA GURUDEV, whom I bow while taking my every breathe.

THE STORY OF ROPE

The story tells about a mountain climber who wanted to climb the highest mountain. He begun his adventure after many years of preparation but since he wanted the glory just for himself only he decided to clime mountain alone. The night fell heavy in the height of the mountain, and the man could not see anything. All was black. Zero visibility and the moon and the stars were covered by cloud.

As he was climbing, only a few feet away from the top of the mountain, he slipped and fell in to the air, falling at the great speed. The climber could only see saw black spot as he went down, and the terrible sensation of being sucked by gravity. He kept falling……and in those moments of great fear, it came to his mind all the good and bad episodes of his life. He was thinking now about how close death was getting, when all of a sudden he felt the rope tide to his waist pull him very hard. His body was hanging in the air….Only rope was holding him, and in that moment of stillness he had no other choice but to scream: HELP ME GOD!!!

All of a sudden a deep voice coming from the sky answered: -- WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? -- Save me GOD. .......... came the reply

--DO YOU REALLY THINK I CAN SAVE YOU?

-- Of course I believe you can. ................. said the man -- THEN CUT THE ROPE TIDE TO YOUR WAIST?

There was a moment of silence; and

the man decided to hold on to the rope with all his strength.

The next day, the rescue team tells that a climber was found dead and frozen…… his body hanging from a rope. His hand holding tight to it…..

ONLY 10 FEET AWAY FROM

THE GROUND…………

And you? How attached are you to your rope?

Will you let it go?

Don’t ever doubt the thing from GOD. You should never say that HE has forgotten or abandoned you. Don’t ever think that HE does not take care of you. Remember that HE is always holding you with his right hand.

BABA BLSS YOU ALL……. saiansh
