Who can satisfy the desires of all these senses?

The eye wants to see all the beautiful things in the world and pressures you to take it there. The tongue craves for tasty dishes. The ears want to hear melodious music. The nose wants to enjoy the fragrance. Who can satisfy the desires of all these senses? If we submit ourselves to these senses indiscriminately, they will put us to a lot of trouble in ever so many ways. First of all, we must find a way by which the senses can be controlled. We must bring them under our control and not the other way around. Only a person who can do this can be called courageous.
