Guest guest
Sairam, Happy Baba's day to you all. We as always await the grace of our Sadguru to shine up on us. It showers on us, but we do not realise it. Let us pray to earn His grace so that we always know that He is with us and guiding our every move. Have you ever gone through an experience that things do not go as we want them to go and we are faced with disappointment. Did you feel disappointed that your devotion towars Baba is not recognised by BABA and that HE is showering nothing but miseries in our lives. Did you question BABA why is it so? It may be that Baba loves us too much, He alone knows why things happen. He is the controller of the time, past, present and future and He has His reasons why things happen in such way. As humans all we can do is to speculate about HIS leelas. My first speculation would be: 1. BABA wants us to balance my previous karma, as we have taken refuge at HIS holy feet, He loves us too much and wants us to work out bad karma quickly hence the problems. 2. The second speculation is that, Baba wants to test the sincerity of our devotion and faith towards Him. We many a time in conversation with other devotees mention that we have complete faith in BABA. Infact there are people who prefix every sentence with HIS name. Now it is expected that people with such immense faith in BABA should be able to endure any type of tests. Would you not think so. When a devotee has absolute faith in Baba then he/she is sure that there is a reason behind everything Baba does and He will do what is good in the right time. All that devotee needs is absolute faith. Assuming that the second speculation is true let us see what Baba has to say about His personal experience with HIS guru and the importance of faith and devotion... "My Guru never expected any other thing from Me. He never neglected Me, but protected Me at all times. I lived with him, and was sometimes away from him; still I never felt the want or absence of his love. He always protected Me by his glance, just as the tortoise feeds her young ones, whether they are near her or away from her on the other side of the river bank, by her loving looks. Oh mother, My Guru never taught Me any Mantra, then how shall I blow any Mantra in your ears? Just remember that Guru's tortoise-like loving glance gives us happiness. Do not try to get Mantra or Upadesh from anybody. Make Me the sole object of your thoughts and actions; and you will, no doubt, attain Paramartha (the spiritual goal of life). Look at Me whole-heartedly, and I in turn look at you similarly. Sitting in this Masjid, I speak the truth, nothing but the truth. No Sadhanas, nor proficiency in the six Shastras, are necessary. Have faith and confidence in your Guru. Believe fully, that Guru is the sole Actor or Doer. Blessed is he who knows the greatness of his Guru and thinks him to be Hari, Hara and Brahma (Trimurti) Incarnate." Instructed in this way, the old lady was convinced; she bowed to Baba and gave up her fast. " Chapter 18/19 Satcharita. Baba bless us and guide us always. Help us to have faith in you and accept everything as your will. All we beg of you is to give us strength to put up with our karma and carry on our life with your sweet name on our lips.
