Option 1: From tirupathi you can travel by private taxi / cab which will cost you Rs.4000- 4500(calculated on the basis of distance).It takes 5to 51/2 hours. Option 2: Train travel: It is better to travel from Renigunta Railway Station which is 8kms from tirupathi town.You can travel by Auto Rickshaw. Renigunta is a major Railway Station and it is a Junction where all Express and Super Fast trains will stop. You can get into Dadar Express or Bombay Mail and get down at Tadipathri Railway Station.Puttaparthi is very nearby from this place.you can take a cab from this place. Please enquire in Renigunta Station whether there is any direct train to Puttparthi Railway Station. I understand that trains are available only on certain days in a week.
