December 21, 2009 – Divine Interaction with SSSIHMS, WF Doctors

Swami

says that Puttaparthi is a workshop where all the cars (read devotees)

come in for maintenance; it is the place where all the devotees come to

“recharge their spiritual batteriesâ€. The pot is full of water as long

as it remains immersed in it. Once taken out, the water gradually

evaporates till the pot becomes empty. To keep the pots of their lives

ever submerged in spirituality is why many devotees visit Puttaparthi

regularly.

A

contingent of doctors from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher

Medical Sciences, Bengaluru, had arrived to bask in His love and refill

their 'pots'! They were present the previous day evening and were

blessed with His darshan. On that day, Swami had sent word

for all of them to be seated in the Bhajan Hall for an interaction with

Him. And sure enough, by 4:25 p.m., the Lord was out and He cut through

the ladies' side and headed straight to the interview room. Soon, He

moved into the Bhajan Hall much to the delight of the hundred and fifty

or so people seated there.

Swami

was the loving mother as He enquired into the well being of everyone

present. As He moved to the centre, representatives offered roses to

Him and Swami accepted them lovingly. He saw the longing and thirst

that pervaded the hall and immediately began to move around slowly,

amidst the seated doctors and their families. And then, it started.

The rain of Love! Swami moved through them, taking letters and talking,

consoling and cajoling, correcting and creating! Many mothers held out

their babes for blessings and none of them were disappointed. In fact,

it was a guarantee of a blessing when one had a child or baby to hold!

Most of the people took padanamaskar as Swami moved towards

the altar from the back end of the Bhajan Hall. Arriving in the front,

Swami was requested to speak to all of them. Swami agreed and a mike

was placed in front.

Bhagavan began by asking in Kannada whether all understood that language. The bhajans

were on outside and the volumes were lowered and now Swami could be

heard. He said that it was vital that the poor be served. The more they

are served, the more He is pleased. But He emphasized on the quality of

treatment too. The feeling of Love is paramount and only that makes up

service. Everyone is an embodiment of God and must be treated that way.

Though called by different names, God is one and He is in all.

The

discourse was short and focused. After ten minutes, Swami began to

interact with all those present. He saw two kids who seemed to be

troubling their mothers! He called one of them and materialized a gold

chain! The baby was so happy and began to play with the creation even

before Swami could put it around her neck. Swami lovingly 'chained' her

to Himself and spoke to the parents. Many couples sought His advise and

blessings for various matters and it was as if Swami was granting mini

family interviews!

He

also granted family pictures for a few and nearly everyone in the hall

moved up to Him and had a few words. Finally, a queue got formed and

people moved towards Swami, kneeling before Him and speaking to Him.

Thus, after a bliss-filled 40 minutes in the Bhajan Hall, Swami moved

back to the interview room. Later, He came out for bhajans and soon received aarthi and left.
