Guest guest
Sairam brotherReading your post I felt compelled to reply. You said you put two papers YES and NO infront of Swami's picture, prayed and then picked the answers yourself. No offence intended, it is like playing dice; you took that 50-50 probability as swami's answers. As I am also "studying" (in the midst of my phd, to be exact) I understand what you are going through. However brother sometimes Swami's answers could even be: Maybe, Wait, See First and the list goes on. If I were you, I would put aside the YES/NO paper thing and just pray to swami without expecting anything. That way is easier to surrender to His Will.I left my family behind in Malaysia to pursue (oddly, at that time) further education in Europe. This is my 3rd scholarship; easy yet not easy. Some people frowned upon my decision to do this because that meant I was not fulfilling my grihasta duties. Swami always said "look after your family!" But I believe my scholarship(s) were given to me by swami and I am here for a reason for which He is preparing me. Every time I face any problems, I am always saved. For example my flat was burgled in August and almost immediately a new computer was purchased for me (for which I didn't even have enough personal cash to buy at that time). My heartfelt advice to you is to be patient and do whatever it is you have to do in your situation. Don't give up, don't confuse yourself further with the YES NO thing. Trust in God and let go.
