Help with Fulbright Affiliation

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kartik

Sundar. I am currently studying Masters in Managerial Logistics at

North Dakota State University in US. I sought to apply for

the Fulbright Research Scholarship and picked India as the host county. A major portion of my Fulbright

thesis is concentrated on non-profit organizations such as the Sai Baba Medical Hospital

and conduct research relevant to the logistics involved in the

outreach programs conducted by the hospital to transport medical

supplies

to rural areas. I plan to create an organizational model for a

non-profit organization that can focus on core logistics and

transportation and work hand in hand with hospitals as well as funding

companies. So essentially it is to develop a non-profit,

volunteer-driven

model that could be used as a conduit between for example, between a

hospital and

a funding company such as Infosys, TCS, etc. To provide more details

regarding my project idea I

have attached my personal statement as well as grant statement that I

intend to use in my application for the Fulbright scholarship research

grant.

 

Through the application process I learned that I need to be

affiliated with an individual from an institution of higher learning in

India and possibly with an organization that relevant to my research.

My natural choices were to get affiliated with Sai Baba Medical

Hospital and Sri Satya Sai Institute. But over the last couple of weeks

I have been struggling to establish contact with both, and was

wondering if any of you have contacts that can help me acquire affiliation letters. The letter would essentially convey that someone

from a college of higher learning/hospital would be willing to guide me

or work with me in pursuing the project goals.

The Fulbright research scholarship

is a highly prestigious opportunity that is acknowledged globally, and I wish to obtain it in order to

drive logistical changes so that it can increase efficiencies in the

non-profit world. As stated earlier, the purpose of this project is clearly

humanitarian and focuses on non-profit. I would greatly appreciate it if you can help me out. Please let me know. Thanks.
