Guest guest
Sairam 1. I don’t know where you are flying from. 2. During this time, Swami stays at Puttaparthi (Prashanthi), which is nearer to Bangalore. Visit the website to get some idea. 3. The nearest international airport is Bangalore, which is well connected by air, rail and road. 4. I think, Srilankan Airways flies directly. If not, fly via Chennai. There are plenty of airlines, like Jet airways, Kingfisher, Air India, etc. Visit www.makemytrip.com, which will give you idea about the carriers flying in. The site also gives idea about trains. You can make the bookings either through www.makemytrip.com or through the websites of relevant airline 5. I also understand that there are plenty of buses from Bangalore 6. Apart from Ashram, there are plenty of hotels to stay with. I have got one of the hotel’s phone number. Sai Brundavan, Near Baba’s old Mandir Phone: +91-8555287927. I have no idea about the charges 7. Visit www.wikimapia.org or Google maps to get to know the distances or locations of cities in India Regards Renganathan, A S Botswana, Africa On Behalf Of Melani Amarathunga 05 October 2009 06:07 Sai Baba [sBOI-post] Visit to Puttaparthi Sai Ram, My dream is to visit Puttaparthi and get the blessings of Swami. Guest guest
inside the ashram, there are separate rooms for overses devotees and separte for non overseas (e.g. india, nepal, bhutan etc)i am not very sure whether sri lanka devotees are considered s overseas or not.you can ring up the ashram phone number : 0091 8555 287164 and enquire whether you would be considered azs overseas or as indian for purposes of accommodation.during the period starting from 20th to end november it would be very difficult to get overseas or outside accommodation unless you book in advance.it is not clear as to how many days you intend to stay there. if it is more than 8 or 9 days, best is to reach there around l7th when accommodation getting may be somehwat easier. at that time you book into a hotel (if you are a non overseas) or ashram (if you are considered as an overseas devotee)..hotel chrges are around rs.1400/1500 for reasonble rooms with attached bath. i am giving below some of the phone numbers of hotels and also a reliable taxi operator who we have been using during last 6 or 7 years whenever we go from bangalore to puttpaarthi.suleman travels Mr sankappa 08555 287076 / 09440 586953 - you can quote my ref. as rk subramaniam from calcutta. you cn also get his help for getting hotels rates etc. their email address is given below:shcomputerssome hotel names kota satyam hotel (just opposite the mandir) 08555 287224/mr narendra 9346840305 -hotel sai ranjith 08555 287471/09440323738 (3 minutes from mandir by walk) i hope these old phone numbers are still valid). you can trythe following two hotels are a bit distant from the mandir, say l0 minutes from the mandir by walk. butg they are of a better standardhotel sai heritage 91 8555 288680/681/09440543799/9341921835email saiheritage9hotel sai renaissance 08555 287591 (no lift)i hope this gives you some inf. dont worry and leave every thing to Swami and He will take carewhenever you have a problem.Sai Ramrk subramaniam, kolkatasai krishna <saikrishna4ever Sent: Tue, 6 October, 2009 9:55:30 AMRe: [sBOI-post] Visit to Puttaparthi Sai Ram Sir, My name is Sai krishna .
