Hi Jake,

My name is Nelline Govender..born in South Africa..but my great

grandparents were from South India. I am a Sai devotee currently residing in

Ireland for the past 6 years. I am a specialist teacher in autistic spectrum

disorders.. It is relatively difficult to obtain a job in Ireland..My qualifications

from Soth Africa are still not recognised in the country..I started to study

all over again..it is only through continuous study that i got into the

teaching profession in Ireland..They are so difficult..I am also a specialist

early years educator..but unfortunately they don’t take the early years

as a serious part of education.

I thought that I should fill you in on the happenings in Ireland

as per job..But who’s to say..with swami’s grace anything can happen..

Jai Sai Ram

And best of luck..may swami guide you always!

Nelline Govender

[sBOI-post] Teaching Special Needs Kids in Britain and Ireland

- Sairam I need Info from Sai devotees

Hi!My name is Jake Montini,I am American and my wife

and I live and work in the Bronx, New York.We are both sai devotees. We have

been checking for updates on our beloved Baba for about a year

but I just joined the group today and this is my first time posting so I hope

this message gets through.am thinking of moving to Britain or Ireland in a year

or two and I know that there are sai devotees all over the world so I hope my

sai family can help me.I am a teacher,I teach teenage kids with special needs

in a special ed facility in the Bronx.I want to work as a teacher when I move

to Britain or Ireland but my British friends have warned me that it is hard to

get teaching jobs in Britain and Ireland because they are really strict about

checking qualifications and they make you get your qualifications recognised

before they let you work.I qualified as a Kindergarten teacher but I gave it up

when I got a calling to help people with special needs and I

started working with special needs kids in the Bronx.I want to continue working

with special needs teenagers in Britain or Ireland but my British friends

warned me that I will only be allowed to teach Kindergarten in Briatian and

Ireland since that is what I am qualified to teach and I will not

be allowed to teach special needs kids since I am not qualified for that even

though I have a ton of experience.Do any British

or Irish sai devotees know how the system works?Would it be easier for me to

get special ed work in Britian or Ireland?I would appreciate any help

because I am really worried. I want to move but I think Baba would want me to

continue working with kids with special needs. Please keep me in your prayers.

Blessings, Jake Montini
