This cannot be learned from textbooks; nor can it be acquired from preceptors. It is only when we face problems and difficulties that this quality of forbearance and forgiveness has scope for taking root. When one is confronted with problems and difficulties, one should not get upset and become a victim of depression, which is a sign of weakness.
