Guest guest
Sadhana Camp (UK) Boys 2008 Friday 10th October 2008 Morning DarshanMuch of the crowd which had come for Dusshera function, had left the night before and a lot of the people were leaving in the morning. Sai Kulwant Hall seemed at lot less busy now especially as there were no longer any students for Darshan. The Morning Bhajans started at the usual time, However Swami did not come till just before 10.30. Swami kindly spoke to few ladies and took their letters while coming towards the veranda. Swami gave interview to the priests who took part in the Yagna, together with their wives and children. Our Dear Lord gave them lots of gifts and blessings. Swami spent considerable amount of time with them whilst the Bhajans were going on. Swami called for aarti at 11.00. Afternoon Darshan: In the afternoon Swami came early for the Darshan. This gave much hope for the Group particularly as they were scheduled to leave the next day, after morning darshan. Swami started his usual Darshan round, however did not do a complete round. Instead he headed towards the veranda from the sisters side without even visiting the brothers side at all. The boys had much sadness in their hearts. Swami then called the Group Leader, Puppet and asked him to give a talk. Puppet prayed to Swami and said to Swami that the boys are ready to do the programme and asked that with his blessings, should he call them? Swami said "No Puppet I want to hear your talk". Puppet insisted on calling to boys to perform, but again Swami said "First I want to hear you talk". Puppet spoke very well for 20 minutes in his usual fashion. He spoke about the 3 G's: he said first be grateful (to God), second, be gracious and finally be Godly! Swami liked Puppet's talk very much! After his talk, Puppet got the group of boys ready with their musical instruments all to hand, however Swami had other plans! Swami then called a student to speak. The Student spoke about his experiences in Telegu. The boys were then thinking, maybe after the students talk the boys would perform? Again, Swami had other plans for the Group. After the student finished speaking, aarti was called and the boys realised that Swami was again playing another one of His great Lelas. Saturday 11th October 2008 Morning darshan: The final day for the UK Sadhana Camp in Prashanti Nilayam had arrived! The group waited eagerly for Swami's Darshan, however it would appear that Our dear Sai had yet more of his great Lelas to enact with the Group, similar to those played between Krishna and his Gopis! Today Bhajans continued for about 1hour 20 minutes. Although Swami did not appear in His physical form, His presence was very much felt by one and all. Afternoon Darshan:The Group had the honour of sitting next to the Vedam boys for afternoon Darshan. As they eagerly waited for Swami to arrive, it soon became apparent to the boys that once also Swami was either testing the Group or had some un-enacted Lelas still to perform. Swami did not come until 5.23am. When Swami emerge from His Divine Resident, he gave Darshan to the ladies side only. Unusually today also, Rudram was not chanted to welcome Swami's arrival, instead a different Hymn welcomed our Beloved Mother Sai. Swami headed straight to the Mandir, where he instructed the boys to start the Bhajans. Swami did not speak to anyone on the Veranda, not even Puppet who was eagerly waiting for a chance to talk to Baba to seek His permission for the Group to depart. Instead Swami just kept looking at the ceiling when going to Mandir and interview room and back to Mandir. Swami did not come to where the boys were sat for the performance. Swami called for the aarti and then headed towards his car. The group leader Puppet could not stand the thought of having to leave Prashanti without speaking to Swami; he therefore spoke to Swami while Swami was in the car and ready to move. Swami said he is very happy with him and the Group and if the Group had some things to do in Banalore then we should leave. From Swami's words it was clear Swami was upset that the Group was leaving. Puppet understood that Swami did not want us to leave until the next morning. Puppet begged Swami several times "Baba please come in the morning". The Group stayed in Prashanti until next morning; bags were loaded from the cars and hotels bookings were cancelled. Only Swami knows the reasons why he does what he does, but everyone was very happy that we will spend an extra day with Our Beloved Mother Sai.
