Sai Ram:

Sai Ram to Lalita Rao. Your Coloured Map of India of over 5000 years ago is very revealing and must have taken considerable effort to compile. It shows the exten of Indian influence to Kyrgystan in the North, Arabia in the West and Burma anc Cambodia in the east, Sri Lanka in the South with no colonial ambitions. It also shows the famous rivers of the day including Saraswati.Sai Ram and - One noteworthy thing during those days was thae degree of battleground chivalry. No fighting after sunset or in the dark. The Kauravas violated this. When Duryodhana was hinding in a well with his Jala Stambhana, Bhima challenged him to come out and fight like a true warrior. On the ohter hand, Ashwatthama butchered the children of the Pandava Arma when they were sleeping. Abhimanyu was attacked from the back where he could not see and killed in the Chakra vyuha. Duryodhana invited the Pandavas as guests to his palace made of wax he had specially constructed to stay as his guests and set fire to to it when they were sleeping. They rtried to defame Draupadi in the Court by trying to disrobe her.

Compare this to present bombing of cities and killing innocent people during the II world war, the bombing of cities in India by the Islamists in India by suicide bombers, and many moe including the 911 bombing of the Twin Towers. It clearly shown how low humanity has fallen in its humanity to inhumanity.

Mahabharatha is a glorious model for all of Humanity from the Indian Mythology.
