Sai Ram,

You can try the following

1. You can tell yourself

" I am not dog; I am man " many times when you get the temptation to

commit a mistake (Swami)

2. You treat your mind as a child and leave it to roam for sometime

without your paying attention to it. It will get tired and get back

to you.(Swami)

3. You can tell your mind

" will Baba be happy with my doing the mistake?. My duty is to

make Him happy " (Swami)

4. You can take a small piece of Chalk and take an oath saying to

your mind that it can continue doing the mistake after making a

mark on the board (or cement wall) every time and only as long as

the same chalk piece lasts. The idea is that the mind is prepared to

stop the habit slowly but with determination.

In all the above suggestions please add a heartfelt prayer to

swami for help

With Love
