1. A man is coming to attack you & he is trying to do that because of your Karma. Maybe you can escape the attack but you can never evade the consequences of Karma forever; because there is, under normal circumstances, no escape. However, if you see Swami in the person who is coming to attack you and do Namaskar to that person, then the danger would pass and indeed the Karma itself would get cancelled, just like that!!!

2. The consequence of karma can be wiped out only through karma, as a thorn can be removed only by means of another. Do good karma to assuage the pain of the bad karma which you have done and from which you suffer now. The best and the simplest karma is the repetition of the Name of the Lord; be ever engaged in it. It will keep out evil tendencies and wicked thoughts & would also help you radiate love all around you.

3. The sages of ancient times divided karma into 2 types: that is intentionally done & that is done without any intention to gain consequence. Follow the latter and you will save yourselves from suffering. All other activities--the earning of wealth, of reputation, of fame and publicity--result in suffering. The act must be according to the prompting of the God within, so that its consequence is left to Him.

4. Want to practice good karma? Cleanse the mind and mould it into an instrument for loving thoughts and expansive ideas. Cleanse the tongue and use it for fostering fearlessness and friendship. Cleanse the hands; let them desist from injury and violence. Let them help, heal and guide. This is the highest spiritual discipline. (Thoughts, words & deeds)

5. Whatever you do, will come back to you. Everyone comes alone into this world. You do not even come with a piece of cloth around you. While leaving, you do not leave an address and go. Husband does not tell his wife his future address; mother does not tell the son…No one knows where he or she will go. It is the good and bad alone that you do in this world that will follow you even after death.

6. Do not blame God for your suffering. You have to reap the consequences of your actions. God is the eternal witness. It is a great mistake to criticize God. You will receive a lot but only when your prayer will rely fully upon Me. You pray to me when in pain so that I intervene, but in the way you desire it. You do not rely on me, but you want me to adjust your requests. Do not ask GOD for anything! He will deal with you as he wills since he knows your past actions.

PS: You may not get grace by just coming to Puttaparthi; or having my darshan; but, if you hold on to my teachings; you will get complete Grace!!! Hold on to my teachings and not to me! I am not important. What is important is my teaching!

Be with yourself; tell yourself: 'Swami, You are everywhere! You are in my house.' Then I will reveal that Truth to you! You have to practice it. If you limit me to this Bhajan hall, or this or that place, I will appear and you will be momentarily happy with my darshan. But you would have limited me and you will not be able to experience My All-pervading spirit. – SATHYA SAI BABA
