My experiences of Afternoon Darshan : Saturday May 24, 2008 at Brindavan, Bangalore

Sairam,

 

I was there and may I share my experiences :

 

After 4.50 p.m. and beyond time:

 

Swamy's bhajan starts and attracts interest. The thoughts fade away

and Mind merges into the music. Now, within a matter of 30 minutes

or so, the bhajan will be over, Swamy would have come and gone, the

Hall emptied by Sevadal volunteers, back to the canteen and the

house at Bangalore for an early bed. A final delink with active

participation in path treaded during past quarter century.

The Heart is heavy but the farewell is firm. No more tests and

tribulations. I am free. Parting is sorrowful and tears well up not

out of devotion or love but as to how years have just passed by.

 

Rustling of clothes bring me back to reality to see Swamy`s chair

rolling in the passage – now 30 feet away,…25….15…5…..it is slowing

down

me...................................................................

........ It was eternity…..no need for language…..thoughts…….just

waiting for the command of the Master. My thoughts/mind/intellect

have all died. God was scrutinizing with a searching look, No

words could come out from me. I am in Samadhi…There was total

stillness….Absolute silence…..No words…….The Students attending to

the Chair were silent and still, The Sevadal was silent and still.

Swam y had willed perfect discipline and nobody dared to move.

After five seconds of silence Swamy nodded his head and the Chair

was away. While sitting still, copious tears roll down from my eyes

in silence, wetting the cuddappah flooring at Brindavan. I do not

recollect how the cover has reached Swamy's lap…..

 

Minutes pass and Swamy is back on stage……..melodious bhajans flow

unabated…….I compose myself and looking at the stage, Swamy was

reading seriously… …….bhajans flow……Swamy's lecture commences……for

minutes after minutes……the Master takes all present for a delightful

and informative satsangh……..the NAMA is very important……when facing

any difficulty you say RAMA, RAMA…. You may not even visualize the

figure of Rama……….The form is born but the NAMA is eternal……………You

are eternal choose any NAMA……RAMA…..KRISHNA…………SIVA……….HARI……………etc.

Constant chanting / awareness will help you win anything in this

World and beyond. Bhajans are very noble and designed for the

present age….More so, sankeerthans in the mornings are even more

noble……first thing in the morning you utter the NAMA…….many

hear………….noblest service…….

The message for me is very clear by now. By His Sankalph only I

have been drawn to Bhajans…..no more doubting………intensity to be

more……….purify yourself further and dive into bhajans /

sankeerthan / the direction taken is His Sankalp….The Master guides

at every step, waits and reassigns……………………………………………………………………

 

 

Mangal Arathi has endeded, Swamy is still seated with his Most

benevolent look at the entire audience....the students guiding the

Chair get up………Swamy signals to sit……………Silence……………Silence…………………

After a minute of silence Swamy signals to move………………

 

 

The combined Darbar had been for more than two hours…..bhajan,

darshan, discourse and continuous flow of GRACE.

 

Devotees go out in orderly lines…….My communion continues…………

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thinking back, how Swamy's discipline had made me to be in

silence………not blurting out words which may not adequately add to the

sanctity………………………waiting in silence for the Master's move……………….I

had totally surrendered ……………….No more intellect to seek anything

from Swamy…………when it was the chance of a lifetime…………..

 

 

 

THE MASTER HAD BEEN ASSESSING ………………….it was INITIATION………………..THE

PRECIOUS AND RAREST NAYANA DEEKSHA………………….that was being extended…………

GRACE BEYOND WORDS……………………GRACE BEYOND PHYSICAL WORLD……………………

TRANSGRESSING THE ANNAMAYA, PRANAMAYA, MANOMAYA, VIGYANAMAYA

KOSAS…..BEOND THE PHYSICAL, THE PRANIC, THE INTELLECTUAL AND THE

MENTAL EXISTENCES……….BEYOND TIME………………BEYOND SPACE…………….

 

 

AWARENESS OF ONLY SAI…………..IN THE ENTIRE HALL………….IN THE ENTIRE

WORLD………………UNIVERSE………………THERE WERE NO OTHERS………………..RATHER IT WAS

ONLY SAI IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE AND NO SECOND ONE………………….I WAS A

PART OF SAI AND I AM A PART OF SAI………………………THIS MOMENT WAS

ETERNAL…….IT IS ETERNAL…….IT CAN BE RE-LIVED………………………….DAILY…………FOR

REGULAR AND PERIODICAL RE-INITIATION

 

 

TO MAKE IT MORE UNDERSTANDING AND DOWN TO EARTH FOR OUR HUMAN

MINDS……………….SWAMY WAS THERE…………………SIVA INCARNATE…………………..RESPLENDENT

WITH HIS JATAMUDI………………RECEIVING THE PURIFYING GANGA …………………..ONLY

THING…………………THE BHAGIRATHA OF YORE WAS PENANCING FOR YEARS AND

RECEIVED GANGA IN PHYSICAL FORM…………………………….TODAY IT WAS GNANA

GANGA………………….THE GANGA OF GRACE……………INFINITE GRACE…………………..SWAMY

INDICATES THAT THE FLOW DOWN HAD BEEN VERY HIGH

VOLTAGE……………………..SWAMY HAD MELLOWED DOWN THE FLOW AND IS RADIATING

GRACE………………………..THE AMAZING GRACE THAT PURIFIES, THAT INVIGORATES,

THAT INDICATES THE NEXT COURSE OF ACTION, THAT SMOOTHENS THE

PASSAGE, THAT GUIDES IN EVERY STEP, THAT CORRECTS ERRORS, THAT

BLESSES INFINITELY AND WIPES OUR TEARS WHEN APPARENTLY BEATEN AND

TRAMPLED UPON IN THE WORLD, DOING HIS WORK……………………………THE GRACE WHICH

SAYS-----DO NOT THINK YOU ARE ALONE AND UNPROTECTED………SWAMY IS WITH

YOU…………CORRECT YOUR STEPS AND SURGE AHEAD……………..YOU CAN WIN ANYTHING

IN THIS WORLD.

Sairam brother,

 

Yes as u said, those moments can never be forgotten and everytime we

recollect those scenes, we enjoy the same bliss again and again.
