Swami came in to my life, as early as in the years between 1963 to 1975, when so many miracles happened. Back in the year 1960, I fell down from a slippery open stair case leading to the terrace in my office, where i had gone to look for something. While descending the stairs,which had slippery moss covered due to rains, I slipped and landed on my bottom several steps down . At that time I did not consider it as very serious. But this fall later developed into an excruciating back pain, and the vertebral bone was pressing my Sciatica nerve and no medications or massages were of any use. The Vellore Hospital, with whom I consulted , suggested a surgery, which i was not willing to undergo. With this pain i was attending to my duties,When a friend of mine one Mr. Ramaswamy, told me about our Swami, suggested me to go with him to Puttaprthy, for the Navarathri celebrations in the year 1963. Mr. Ramaswamywas an ardent devotee of our Swami. I had some misgivings about this journey, but I undertook the journey with him. It was a glorious fujnction, and though i enjoyed the event, my pain did not go. I told my friend to take me back as the fuction was over. He told me, unless we take Prasad from Swami, the visit would be incomplete. So on the following morning, We got up early from the bed spread across the lawns of Prasanth Nilayam, had our bath, and sat on the verandah of prasanthi Nilayam from 4 a .m onwards. Sitting on the cold veranda for hours caused me more pain . Swamy finally came around 8 a.m and began to distribute Vibuthi packets. I was somewhere 20 places down the line . When Swami came to me i fell on his feet and hugged them. They felt like Ganges water to me soothing and comforting. Swamy said " leya mma Ley . Theesco " in telugu and showered a handfull of Vibuthi packets in my hands.

We started to get back to catch our bus to bangalore and the train to Trichy. Bus we were able to get to go to bangalore ,but the train we could not catch. That evening at bangalore, we left by a passenger train to Salem. It was a third class coach, with barren bench in those days. Due to my severity of pain, I chose a vacant bench and laid down completely exhausted. I did not know how i slept and when the train reached Salem, my friend woke me up. The surprising thing was, no one disturbed me during my travel , which is very rare in a crowded III class coach in the train. When I got up WHERE WAS MY PAINS BOTHERING ME OVER YEARS NOW? THEY WERE GONE FRO EVER.

We completed our return journey to Trichy from Salem in a ricketty bus. Ever since this

incident in my life, I became Swamy's ardent devotee, and every now and then He helps me to solve many problems. Sometimes, we think a thing is impossible,but Swamy with His abundant grace makes it possible. Complete surrender and faith in Him is the only solution to all our problems. JAI SAI RAM
