Guest guest
Dear Udaya sankar garu sair ram I am to submit that god will not care about the physical form of human being. Irrrespective of our poster during puja or any time he only see purity of the soul but none else. It is for us to dicide to maintain a particular system during satsang and then follow it without any change. As already told by Bhagawan long long ago " He do not require our services. He require our services to the humanity " . Jai sairam. Guest guest
it dosn't matter whether you sit or stand, you should have the Lord in focus.you should not disturb other's view.in large gathering ,it is better sitting and if it is a small group of 10/15,standingis ok. In the local Sai Mandir, yesterday (27/03/2008), there was a healthy discussion on whether during Mangala Aarthi, all devotees should raise and stand or they should remain seated. Hitherto, in this centre, for years they have been following the system of standing during Mangala Aarthi. Recently some outsider attended the Bhajan and suggested that the devotees need to remain seated during Aarthi. During yesterday's discussions, many of the devotees expressed the view that it would be a disrespect to the Lord, if they do not stand and the number of devotees are not many which demand otherwise. Some of the devotees have no opinion to offer. Few of the devotees quoted the example from Prashanthi Nilayam and other Sai Centres in India wherein during Aarthi, all devotees remain seated which would also enable clear view of the Altar, will not disturb the aasana of the devotee, will not result in some commotion, etc., Now as a long time devotee, I would like to get views from the group on the right position of devotees during Aarthi. Guest guest
SAI RAM, We have been conducting Sai Bhajans from olden days. In my parents place in 1968..., we used to stand during arati. Now at my residence also, we stand and sing during arati. I feel this practice is good and manageable in small crowd like at home. May be at Swami's Abode, we are not allowed to stand and sing because while standing ,we will not be able to see Swami nicely as well as the huge crowd cannot be controlled in standing position. Moreover, we sit to view Swami till Swami goes inside His Abode and hence, in sitting posture, we are able to see Swami till the end.
