Guest guest
Sai Ram dear bhaktas! This is one of the most important questions for me nowadays.. Somehow, I still have doubts whether it is true that souls of killed animals (today millions of them are slaughtered) are reincarnating in human bodies? WHAT and WHERE EXACTLY Bhagavan says on this? This is particularly important for me, because last 5 years or more I tend to love those people, who do not concern on animal welfare issues, far less intensely than I love animals! It even leads to some conflicts in my life. Perhaps, I would love these people much more if I know that - according to Bhagavan - they are in fact - reincarnations of those very animals whom I so much love! Guest guest
Dear Alex it is very much true that every living thing in the world will take one form or other after it's death. If u r an indian u may know about " KARMA " theory. It says the result of one living thing deeds are good and fair it may be promoted to the better life or it may enjoy it's fruit's in the same life. else it may born in lower form of life that it was or suffer the consequences in that particular life. Only the self less actions of the living thing duly leaving the result to the god almighty will give u the ultimate thing the " MOKSHA " that is union with our beloved Bhagavan. so one should be kind enough to all the living things and do not harm it in any form wantedly. if it is out side ur purview pray the god to help it. Hope i have thorwn some light to ur question. kindly go thro' the related books from SSSBPT. jai sai ram. raju. , " ALL " <new_jalsomino wrote: > > Sai Ram dear bhaktas! Guest guest
Dear Alex I think that in 'Conversations with God', by John Hislop, Baba says that the fish we eat become humans in their next lifetime - far too soon for their evolution - which causes trouble all round. This is in fact hard to imagine! I too feel a great concern for our animal brothers and sisters, especially in view of the fact of the harm that we do to them - usually 'legitimised' on a huge scale, e.g. animal testing for almost every product we use, vivisection, factory farming to name but a few, and one dreads to think of the karma we are creating and the mountains of karma we have already created. As Baba has said (I will look up the reference) there are many sadhus amongst the animals and the merit we have accumulated in many lives as animals has earned us a human body. In fact there are now books full of true stories relating deeds of kindness, helpfulness, even altruism performed by animals for creatures of their own and other species as well as for the human species. I will look out for answers to the question you posed and get back to you when I have found them. This may take a little time! It saddens me when others are not at all concerned with animal welfare, especially when they are supposedly 'spiritual'. Baba has said repeatedly that God is in every being and that Love pervades all of creation and that it is our duty to actively love and serve all beings. He has also told us that when we look after and love an animal, we are helping to speed up its evolution and even if we can't look after one, we should at least feed the birds. Thank you for the film you sent, I'm looking forward to looking at it! Guest guest
dear Alex In Summer Showers in Brindavan l977, p.183, Baba says that the fish people eat become human beings. He also talks along similar lines - although it doesn't sound so clear cut here - about the animals people eat in Summer Showers in Brindavan l974 (sorry, no page reference). Hope this helps. jai Sai Ram mercini - urk_raju Thursday, February 14, 2008 7:54 AM [sBOI-post] Re: A very important question Dear Alexit is very much true that every living thing in the world will take one form or other after it's death.
