Sankranthi is a Most sacred festival for all Bharathiyas. For Bharatiyas there are three very sacred Festival nights - Sankranthi, Sivarathri, and Navarathri. Each of these has its own special significance, In Sankranthi every person should turn to look inward during the Punya Kala of Uttarayana. This is a most sacred day to start your journey to understanding the Divine and to lead a purposeful life.Adi Sankara also took Sanyasa on this day. He became Divinity Personified on this Sacred day.
