Many things happen to us without our volition. We may call it simply as

fate or karma. We are not aware of our accumulated karmas during many past

births as well as in this birth. Karmas are accumulated not due to physical

actions alone. Our thoughts and feelings also account for it. Hence Baba always

reminds us to " Do good, See good and think good. We lament for the sufferings we

undergo. God never reveals us the reasons for our sufferings. We have to

construe that we have committed several acts against other beings either due to

ignorance or arrogance. We have to undergo the effects without fail. But we

complain that God is merciless and inflict troubles and sufferings. But it is

only due to MERCY AND GRACE, that God subject us to sufferings. For instance you

have taken loan from a bank and it has to be repaid with interest. The bank

manager often sends us notices reminding the dues. We become anxious. But it is

our own commitment to the Bank that we will repay the loan in few years in equal

installment. Though we are burdened we are aware of the dues. But in the debts

incurred in previous births, none will send us notices but the dues will be

recovered without fail by way of duty to our own kith and kin. Some times some

people will usurp our hard earned money without any valid reason. Thief will

steal money from our house. We may feel dejected and depressed. But these are

all the ways we clear our debts. We are not aware of the dues. Hence, these dues

are settled in a forceful manner. God alone knows about our dues but he never

reveals it. Hence each loss is a great lesson. We have to pacify ourselves

thinking that these are all not accidents but incidents to clear our debts.

Sairam, Saisaran.

When someone wants to explain Karma, please only quote from scriptures or Swamy's own words. When we try to write on such difficult topic, it mey be mis understaood. Thereby it is better to use the scriptures has reference.

When one has the Grace, there is no suffering and the LORD does not make anyone suffer, you reward or punish your self for your own deeds, HE is only a witness.

Remeber, HE can make you go through the KARMIC effects without you suffering or even knowing, you will be in Blissful state like Shri. Ramakrishna, having cancer and continuing his teachings. There are many examples in the scriptures. The Gita expalins the KARMA theory in great details.

It has been a misunderstanging that the LORD makes you suffer.

Usually one compalins when the suffering comes, WHY ME ? but the same person, when rewrded does not ask WHY ME ?

Praise the LORD SAI
