Guest guest
Few years ago, i had the opportunity to participate in Prasanthi seva. I was posted to North block where foreigners were staying. There was a programme going on in Sai Kulwant Hall for Balavikas children and fortunately, there was a loud speaker opposite to the North Block. I was fortunate to hear the Divine Discourse which made an imprint in my Heart. Actually Baba was addressing the Balavikas children. He commented on the choice of books, students read for pass time. Swami warned that children should never read horror stories and other trash comic books. They should select good books for their reading which will mold their character like the stories of saints and sages, stories of Ramayana and Mahabarath. They should learn about the rich tradition of our country which was abounding with various cultures. Students should imbibe fine lessons of human values from young ages etc. It is the parent who should guide their children to read only good and noble books. The values they imbibe during childhood days will go a long way in building their character. I found that the few lessons Baba taught on the day will become the foundation for future India. I have no doubt that these Balvikas children, will become future pillars of our nation. Training them on proper reading habits will guide them to be responsible citizens later. Sairam,Saisaran.
