Namasthe Santosh,Good to hear you wish to take Akarshaya Siddh Mala in Punchdhatu for personal use. Punchdhatu and silver are both fine; whichever one is ok. 1) Best to chant Universal Mala for all Rudraksha beads which is `Om Namah Shivaya'. 2) This mala should be worn round the neck or close to the person. If there are times you can't wear it in case other people want to touch it, carry the mala in a silk or cotton pouch in your pocket. 3) Yes if you wish to wear the mala 24 hours a day without taking it off, its fine.4) All rudrakshas do not have side effects.5) Its ok if you are a non-vegetarian. There are no rules that say that non-veg eaters cannot wear.6) Only differences between Nepal beads and Java beads are their size and availability. Nepal beads are bigger, more rare and more expensive. Java beads are smaller and cheaper because they are easily found.7) If you can afford Akarshaya Siddh Mala then this is a better option because of its special synergistic combination of beads.8) Best to take a bit of time to meditate which beads you want before making a decision which combination you prefer to have. 9) Remember that rudrakshas can last for many decades and passed down the generations as heirlooms if they are properly taken care of. Om Namah Shivaya
