Charging/Re-Charging Rudraksha Beads - Playing the beej mantras CD/Audio/MP3

Dear Narasimhaye Ji and Respected Members,

 

We normally wear the rudraksha beads/maalaas during the day and place them in

the altar before we goto bed for sleeping.

 

My question is - can we continuously play the beej mantra CD/MP3s near to the

beads (which are kept in the chest/box)and hope that they get charged with the

power of the mantra chanting that is coming out of the electronic player. Please

share all your experiences and knowledge.

 

Can this be done any other time during the day when we are not wearing the

beads?

 

Does the Shiva Panchakshari Mantra (Om Namah Shivaya) work as well? There are

CDs available which have over 3 hours( or more?) of Om Namaha Shivaya chanting.
