Dear Sir,

Thanks for your response and clarification. I came across this bit of

information while reading the Padma Purana (online). But to further

confirm may I know to which text you are referring to ?

In which text there is mention of of joint beads ? Is it in the modern

age (lets say the past 2000 years) that these beads became well known.

Is there any author or researcher that has published about the joint

beads and if so - are these works more authentic than Padma Purana, Devi

Bhagawatam etc?

Sir - my questions are in no way meant to test or offend anyone but it

is better to learn the truth :) .

Sincerely yours

Falguna

joint beads for hundreds of years and found them to be beneficial.

Namaste,

Read the book titled Power of Rudraksha by Sri Kamal Narayan Seetha, pages 158

and 159, then chapter 13 - Original texts of Puranas and Shastras. Yes these

beads became known in modern age and you might be right about the 2000 year era.

This is the link for the book:

Sri Seetha and Ms Neeta Ji of Rudra Centre are both great researchers of

rudraksha. They have a lot of knowledge about the holy beads. Whatever that is

published in modern times to date surpass some of the info in old holy texts.

For example in olden days, only rudraksha up to 14 mukhis are found and

mentioned in holy writings. But today rudraksha of 21 up to 29 mukhis are found

although they may only exist once in every 10 years - just a rough idea

especially for 22 mukhis upwards.

If you need to know more, you can contact Rudra Centre at:

Best wishes.
