Guest guest
Namaste Falguna, Its not true that joint beads cannot be used or worn. There are some texts that may mention joint beads and that they are worn or worshipped. These texts mention the usefulness of wearing or worshipping joint beads later, i.e. after the dates the Puranas and Srimad Devi Bhagavatam were written. They were the work of people who had experimented with joint beads for hundreds of years and found them to be beneficial. The very old Puranas mentioned usually 1 mukhi to 14 mukhi beads and nothing else as during those olden times, only mukhis 1 to 14 existed. Best wishes. , falguna108 <no_reply wrote: > > Dear Members, > > Read somewhere(one of the Puranas I think) that beads that are joined together (like gaurishankar etc) must not be used / worn on the body? > > Please enlighten for the benefit of all. > > Rgds >
