Guest guest
Merry Greet Enrique, Yes its possible to get through Wicca to reach the summit. Wicca and Hinduism are Pagan 'religions'; they are 'Earth Religions' and share some similarities in that Wicca encourages practitioners to pen their own rituals and poems for recital while Hinduism has Mantras that are for devotees to recite. Wicca has a Father and Mother 'concept' in that devotees can worship patriarchal male gods or female godesses in which case they are known as Devas (male) and Devis (female). In Wicca a lot of people worship the female aspect known as the 'Mother'. In Hinduism there is also a Supreme Mother called 'Shakti' (feminine power). To compare the two religions or 'Paths to the Summit', would like to suggest that you read books on Wicca by Scott Cunningham or Silver Raven Wolf. Both have written very good and easy-to-read books that are comprehensible for laymen, intermediate and advanced practitioners alike. Their books are published by Llewellyn. In Hinduism if you have a tendency to worship Shiva, then a book called 'Dancing With Shiva' by Satguru Subramuniya Swami would be the go. Don't let me sway you by my recommendation of books. Its essential to do some searches online to read about introductions and more information before purchasing any of them. If you type 'Llewellyn, Scott Cunningham and Silver Raven Wolf' into a search engine, there will be info that will help you decide whether those books are for you. Many blessings. , " enriquebatista wrote: > > Thank you!
