Am sorry in replying you email was out in new york, like you , ive been practicing on a regular basis for the past 4 to 5 years or murti puja and reciting mantras, like you are in manchester and im in toronto and i do read regularly email from our common sites and am sure there are quiet a few knowledgable people out there . so i kinda pick things up from there .

 

now to your question . I do recite Om namaha shivai , Om gum ganpatiya namaha , and om sai namaha. on a regular basis and sequence is ganpati first, shiv next and sai third .

108 times and the best time to do i Brahma hour which is between 3 to 6 am or in otherword one hour before sunrise. since i leave home for work at 6 am ive got no problem waking up.

and as for offering there is in my books no hard and fast rules .God does accept anything thats offerd with love.and devotion.

However in any condition . Shradha (faith), Subri(patience) ,cant remember third one is important.Irs devotion.

As far as chanting is concern one can do any where in train or while driving in ones mind,
