Namaste All, I generally only read the RR emails but this time as I was reading the daily posts from RR, I came across this stream and it troubled me for quite some time.  It wasn't until I took a few minutes to recite my 'Om Namah Shivaya' and pray to the Maha ShivShakti that I received the below that it made sense to me as to what was troubling me. These days, people young and old expect instant gratification.  Praying to god does not guarantee anything other than prayer to god.  Below are the seven blunders of the world as described by Ghandiji, pay attenntion to the sixth but I suggest you remember all.

Wealth without workPleasure without conscience

Knowledge without characterCommerce without morality

Science without humanityWorship without sacrifice

Politics without principleRights without responsibilities [Arun Gandhi]

I have worn the Akarshaya Siddh Mala for just over 8 months now and with daily worship and personal sacrifice, I have been granted my wishes. Though not completely fulfilled. I will continue to perform my daily payers and worship until my lord see fit with or without any known benefit.

Dear Santosh Kumar, respected Narasimhayeji, and other Sadhaks:

I absolutely agree with Santosh, every single day I read the messages posted on this forum and am very pained to see that maryada is flouted by few. If it is done in ignorance its understandable however doing some ritual halfheartedly then expecting miracles seems to be the norm today.

This forum is for imparting knowledge only, I would only humble request that in my opinion I think correct knowledge and methodology of worship should only be imparted and the decision wither one can follow the correct procedure should be left to the sadhak (follower). Who are we to judge Shivji's sadhaks be it a pandit from Kashmir, kanyakumari, a Westerner, South American, or oriental? My understanding of the vision behind this forum is to spread knowledge about Rudraksha and not that to discern and discriminate if a sadhak has the capacity to follow true procedures of worship! we should leave that to the Sadhak as its between him/her and Shivji.

Best Regards

BajK
