To Emyli / Where do you face when chanting mantra

Hi Emyli,

Ideally your niece should do the chanting herself for best results and Saraswati

Mantras yeild best results when chanted anytime during the three hours before

sunrise (go by localtime sunrise). Remember to take a shower and wear clean

clothes before you sit down for chanting. If you have a prayer room do the

chanting there. If not do it in the study while seated facing east or north. (be

seated on a cussion or clean woolen blanket dont let the body touch the floor

while chanting)

If your neice is not able to chant the mantras herself, have you considered

geting her a Yanthra to wear. Yantras like VidyaRajaGopala etc are effective for

kids who can concentrate in studies or are doing poorly in studies.

Avoid facing south while chanting mantras. Only certain mantras require facing

south and those are for very different purpose than what you are seeking
