Dear Baj,

Guess water is pure and sweat is classified as body chemical. It gets absorbed

by the beads during exercise. After a period of time, there's some grit or

grime which will show up on the beads. Hence its good practice to wash the beads

every so often to unclog them from sweat and other body chemicals.
