Namaste Shins,

Its fine to begin wearing rudraksha on any Monday as its Shiva's day.

However if the intended wearer is not able to do it on Monday, then any

day is still ok. Its more important to perform prayers with devotion on

the day you are wearing the bead. Please try to wear it as often as

possible.

that this would help me in my future endeavors. I was wondering about a

suitable day to perform prayers and wear the rudraksha. After some

research on net, I have found that rudraksha can be worn on any Monday

or during Solar/lunar Eclipse or NewMoon. So, I had decided to wear this

on Friday 18/09/09. My mum is not happy with the chosen date as it falls

on Mahalaya Amavasya.
