Guest guest Posted August 22, 2009 Report Share Posted August 22, 2009 Namaste Sidinfomail, I like to share if we go back olden days elctricity was not available, ancient people r lighting lamps with various oils Gee lamp or Mix-oil (Mainly 5 types Til, castror, coconut, neem, karanja oils) used in India for sacred lighting why gee lamp is superior than oil ? it emits less fumes.. since its made of cow bi product, it was considered sacred, that is the reason used in homa and awans it gives more light / bright than the normal oil lamp the fumes emited by these lamps along with sented agarbati stics has the cleansing effect, it converts negetive energy into positive energy the fumes also works as insects repelent especial the lamp lighted by mix oil has true medical effect just example nilgiri oil used as anti - Swine Flu (H1N1) mediciene in INDIA, it worked, similarly neem, karanja & till oils has lot of medical properties The fact is changed, now in India also many people don't have time to clean lamp put wic & oil light etc so much work, here also using serial lights, artificial deepa etc Wish i cleared why INDIAN's gives importance to light oil lamp than electric lamp in front of god Hreem Shivaya Namha A.SrinivasanEshwari Computers#15, Pattalamma Temple StreetBasavangudi, Bangalore - 560 004Cal: 41312207, 93412-11246 - sidinfomail Thursday, August 20, 2009 11:52 PM RBSC : lamp what is importance of light oil lamp?can we use electric lamp instead of oil lamp in front of god?vedic science given much importance on lights up ghee lamp?i have confusion bcos both emitting ENERGY then why given importance to only oil lamp?
