Purifying the bead

Dear Narshimhaye Ji,

 

I am currently wearing a 5 mukhi rudraksha during the day and I use the 1 - 14

mukhi mala only while doing the prayers. Incidentally my grandfather had passed

away today and I had visited their place wearing the 5 mukhi bead. I did not

enter the house but was waiting outside the house. Do I need to purify the mala

after this as I know rudraksha should not be worn when visiting pleaces where

death has occured. If I need to purify the bead how do I do it.
