Namaste Baj,

Wish I can help you further but looking at a photo and with my limited knowledge

about the look and feel of coral, its hard to make further comments/assumptions.

Hopefully some gurus or members here can enlighten us.

reason I was apprehensive about its authenticity is, I have heard of synthetic

coral being factory manufactured from plastic+bone dust powder using extrusion

technology. And then they color dry the end product. This Chinese are a

ingenious lot. They even maker artificial Turquoise, and Jade from cheaper

stones like Agate and dye them to look like turquoise and jade.

look from inside if broke into two pieces?
