Guest guest
Dear Adisadasiva9, Agree there are many people who wear rudraksha but still continue to eat various meats and drink alcohol. It depends on the background they come from. If they are strict vegetarians, then they won't eat meat. There are others who eat non-veg maybe because of background/ upbringing, different religious backgrounds like Christians, tantrics, aghoris, nathas, etc. Shastra does not mention whether people can be veg or non-veg when wearing rudraksha. This means its up to personal choice to choose whether you wish to become veg. It has been mentioned in the past in this forum about meat eating and going out with strict vegetarians. In this case, rudraksha can be put in a pouch and carried in the pocket. Otherwise it can be placed at home on the altar for safety. There will not be any karmic harm in giving rudraksha to family members and friends. Holy texts mention that the gifting of rudraksha brings high merits. Om Namah Shivaya ======================== om, there are some friends who would like to wear rudraksha but they eat various meats and drink alcohol , should rudraksha be given to them.i personally don " t want to give it for their might be some karmic reaction. what is your position. om tat sat.
