If you have a strong feeling to string your 16 and 17 mukhi beads with your Siddh Mala, by all means do so. The other option is of course as you mentioned, to wear the 2 beads separately along with the Siddh Mala or Indra Mala. Another method would be to place 16 and 17 mukhis on the altar for worship.
