Guest guest
Dear GN, Only an astrologer can let you know whether you're mangalik. Its basically a condition where a couple with one magalik and one not mangalik will have sucess in their marriage. Astrologers also mention that if both parties are mangalik in the birthchart, the marriage should be avoided. Its a matter of personal choice these days what a person wishes to wear. And when we are strongly drawn to a particular item at any time, then its the right thing for that period. Om Namah Shivaya ================== As a personal preference I quite like black thread as its not so prominent when I wear it to work. I don't think I am a manglik. Will that cause any problems?? Why is red thread recommended over black?? Kind regards GN ------------------ narasimhaye <no_reply > Wed, 13 May 2009 10:28:24 RBSC : Red or Black Thread for Rudraksha Hi Deepak, Some people wear red thread if they are not Mangalik in horoscope. Mangalik people are often advised to wear black thread. For priests, they are following tradition or lineage rules for the type of color thread they wear.
