Its mainly for people who are short of time each day and those who are not able to perform the much longer method. It does not matter whether we perform the short way or long way as it is bhakti (devotion) that is more important. Please explain the difference with smallest to the biggest beads. Is it best to wear smallest mala in gold for the same effect? kind regards.
