The astrologer you met must have been confused between rudraksha and gems. Wearing 3 mukhi beads will not be harmful for you. It seems he has not undertaken studies of rudraksha and gives wrong adice about rudraksha. In all holy texts that mention rudraksha, they have not mentioned about Anukul vad/pratikul vad for rudraksha beads.
