Guest guest
Dear Jagannath, Great that you've been wearing your mala for 6 months since you received. Its so good to hear of all the positive reponses between your rudraksas and you. There are usually no cracks at the head, body and tail of rudraksha. Sometimes they may be tiny chip offs but these will not affect electromagnetic properties of the bead. It also can't effect the wearer in any other way. However, its important to oil the beads every 2 or 3 months to prevent them from drying out or being attacked by insects. What you've described as cracks may actually be natural lines of the bead running from inside of the bead outwards toward the tail. These are not cracks. Again, these are tiny natural formations. Guest guest
Namaste Narasimhaye, If insects attack the beads, do they lose their electromagnetic powers or can those be restored after eradicating the insects? Regards Rahul
