Guest guest
Dear Rahul, If you have multiple beads of the same type, you can chant the same mantra 9 or more times for each of them. For 7 mukhi, the Beeja mantra is " Om Hum Namah " . The other mala that you have with 33 beads is actually a Kantha Mala with 32 beads and one bead extra called a Meru or Sumeru. Since this mala is strung with 5 mukhi beads, you can recite Om Namah Shivaya for each bead. Om Namah Shivaya is the universal mantra for Shiva and 5 mukhi rudraksha are ruled by Shiva. I have three beads of 7 mukhis in my mala. Should I do the mantra for each bead 9 times (total of 27) or should I just do 9 times and all the beads get worshiped at the same time. Also, I have a 33 bead mala of 5 mukhi - should I chant the mantra each day 33x9 or just 9 times? This is for the daily worship of the beads. > Rahul >
