Guest guest
Dear Hari, Yes Java beads are easily available and because of their smaller size, they are cheaper than Nepali beads. Nepal beads are more rare. Many people found there is no difference between the two types of beads. The benefits of rudraksha have been undertaken by Theraputic practitioners, some Ayurvedic physicians and a hospital in Mumbai as well as another place in Banaras (I think). Botanical or taxonomy groups at universities in India and overseas study different parts of rudaksha or research the whole rudraksha tree for their own references. They found the beads to have different benefits other than psychological. The beads' electromagnetic properties can be measured by electrical equipment as stated in a book by Suhas Rai (currently out of stock at Rudra Centre). Yes the price of higher mukhi rudrakshas are expensive because of rarity. Would recommend you to get the book titled Power of Rudraksha written by Sri K.N. Seetha : /dispProduct.php?prodId=174 This very special book contains a lot of information about rudraksha. Its truly the best book about rudraksha.
