Conflict between blue topaz and seven mukhi rudraksha?

Namaste,

 

I have been wearing a blue topaz for my shani related problems; I also

do pooja to shanidev on Saturdays. Recently I bought a seven mukhi

Rudraksha which I believe is to suppress malefic effects of shani, i

wear this around my neck.

 

My dilemma is: first remedy is to please shanidev and the second

remedy is to overcome shanidev. If I wear both this articles is it a

conflict? Can I continue to wear both?
