Guest guest
The magnificent " Garbh Gauri " Rudraksha: I always thought that I never needed this bead because I was not expecting, or trying to conceive. This bead is indicated for mother child relationship, and little do we know the divine parallelisms of that relationship!I am thankful to existence for giving me the honor of wearing 11 of these beads in a beautiful necklace custom made by Rudra Center. I feel that this bead is the most important bead for spiritual growth: it has a strong connection with Muladhara Chakra The Muladhara/ root chakra supposedly develops during birth to three to five years of age: the time when a child grows from/ of/ due to motherly care. In modern day research, some people who have reported to lack of motherly love during that formative period, have resulted in disfiguration in parts lower chakras. The root chakra is closely linked to how grounded we are. If this chakra is healthy, we are centered and have a strong will to live. If it is closed or blocked, our physical energies are low, our vitality is weak. This chakra is related with the parts of our consciousness concerned with survival instincts/ gut feelings relating to love, and elements of trust, dedication, security, etc. The sub-conscious records the childhood experiences and affects one's performance in life. When a child enters the world in a traditional family structure, the mother provides the nourishment and the father provides the direction. In the child's relationship with its mother, it makes certain decisions about the way things are. The relationship with the mother becomes a model for the person's relationship with everything that represents security - money, home, and job. Even medical psychology research has stated that primal memories become embodied patterns they cannot be released. They are part of the body and remain until they decay due to old age or death. As long as they remain intact they are capable of generating negative reactions. (For me: I have always had a wonderful relationship with my mother, but this bead has shown me the pain that I experienced in being parted from my mother when she went for just a few hours to teach while I was very small. Even though I was in the care of my loving grandparents, there was a lack of the mother. This probably led to a blockage in my Mooladhara, and, in order to ground myself I always ate more and more frequently. As a result my digestive system grew to be taxed. The body would always be over-worked. Where was the scope for inner growth? And this was all sub conscious till recently...I seem to know myself in reality and truth much more than I ever have) The Garbh Gauri is so wonderful that it bestows the ability to work through primal impressions and helps in grounding us, thus opening the root chakra. Once you know the cause of pain you know where to put the pain balm! When the root chakra is in its clear state, a person is able to feel secure, be present in the here and now, and be grounded. When there is tension in this chakra, it is experienced as insecurity or fear. When there is more tension, it is experienced as a threat to survival. Most importantly, Garbh Gauri bead helps us transcend the relationship of earthly mother and child bond that is much based on attachment and ego, to one of us being the child of the divine, the mother existence. When grounded, with the motherly earth energy flowing through the Muladhara Chakra, we begin to remember the cosmic love that we took birth for. This bead has so much power. It frees us from the shackles of the lower chakras and allows the energy to rise up, thus raising our awareness about our innate, primordial self. When blockages manifest in lower chakras one never experiences that kind of connection with Bhumi Mata. While the Gauri Shankar bead works to improve our relationships with the others in our llife and beyond, (by working on our Manipuraka and other chakras), the Garbh Gauri allows the Kundalini to flow up to the other chakras, so other beads can work even better on them. Garbh Gauri improves our relationship with ourselves by letting us recognize our own blocks....Self-Knowledge is the Ultimate Knowledge knowing which everything will be known......and the Masters have said time and again, that we see others as we see ourselves. If we practice ahimsa on our own self (yes, over-eating, addictions, survival mode behavior are all himsak) we can never even think of doing himsa to others. In knowing ourself, we know the divinity in all. The Masters have also said that at death our chakras, which are electrical by nature (and have acted like tape recorders absorbing the resonance of all our past actions and thoughts), will leave with the astral body awaiting to be delivered at conception a blueprint with which to direct the body cells' development........so we see that the primordial self is already stamped with our actions (Sanchita Karma) and gives fruit on birth (Prarabdha Karma). But with blockages in our self, and negative experiences in the process of growing up through Maya, we do not experience the reality. The chakras, in their blocked state may add on more karma: Agami Karma (the karma that are done in the current janma and results are stored for future janmas).....a process that elongates our realization of the self, reality and divine. So...why not receive the blessings of Lord Shiva and re-record the tape of our chakras with only love, in this very life with the holy rudraksha? THIS MAGNIFICENT BEAD IS A MUST FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH.
